Medication Assistance

Medication assistance is a critical service that our trained staff at Prospect Health Living Care provide to our clients. We understand that many elderly or disabled individuals require assistance with taking their medications properly and on time, and this is where we come in.

We offer medication assistance in a variety of ways:
  1. Medication Reminders: Our Trained staff will remind the clients to take their medication on time as prescribed by their healthcare provider.

  2. Medication Administration: If the client is unable to take their medication on their own, our trained staff can administer the medication as per the prescription provided by the healthcare provider. All our staff at Prospect Health Living Care is fully  trained and certified to perform medication administration.

  3. Medication Management: Our Trained staff can also help the client with medication management, including organizing and labeling medications, ensuring that prescriptions are refilled on time, and keeping track of medication schedules and side effects.

  4. Medication Education: Our trained staff can educate the clients about their medications, including the purpose of each medication, potential side effects, and how to take them. They can also teach the clients how to use medical equipment such as inhalers, nebulizers, and insulin pens.

All staff at Prospect Health Living Care are adequately trained and licensed, and they follow all relevant laws and regulations governing medication administration and management.
